Keep the next cartridge ready

Leave unused ink cartridges in their original sealed packaging until you are ready to install them.
Follow the storage conditions on the pack. Keep supplies away from direct heat and avoid crushing the packaging.
Once opened, install the ink cartridge promptly. Do not leave the printer’s ink system open without its required cartridges.
Use the printer’s power button and let its shutdown finish before switching off at the wall. This lets the print head return to its protected position.
Keep fingers away from nozzles and electrical contacts. Do not reapply shipping tape to an opened cartridge.
