Standard, XL and high-yield: which should I choose?
Compare capacity within the correct cartridge family, without confusing a bigger yield with a different model.
1 min readA high-yield version is designed to print more pages than the standard version in the same supported family. Labels vary: some use XL or XXL, while others use a different number.
Make a useful comparison
- Confirm both versions list your exact printer. An XL label alone does not establish compatibility.
- Compare the page yield for the same color and the same type of supply.
- Check the pack contents. A multipack may contain one of each color or several of the same cartridge.
- Consider how much you print before choosing a large pack. Keep spare cartridges sealed until needed.
