Samsung CLP-365 / CLP-365W: faded print, lines or repeating marks

Check paper, Toner Save and the affected colour before replacing parts.

For Samsung CLP-365 and CLP-365W printers using CLT-406S toner, check simple print settings and paper before replacing the imaging unit.

Start with a short print test

Try fresh, dry laser paper and set the paper type in the printer driver to match it.
For a uniformly pale page, turn Toner Save off and check the selected print quality.
If one colour is faded, check its toner level and installation. Gently rock the cartridge to redistribute remaining toner, following the supplied fitting instructions. This may help briefly but does not refill an empty cartridge.
