Brother HL-3170CDW: reset replacement colour toner

Use Secure and Cancel on this older colour HL control panel.

The HL-3170CDW and the listed HL-3140CW use the Secure/Cancel shortcut. The model number matters: the newer HL-L3230CDW uses Back/Cancel instead.

Reset after fitting the new toner

With the printer on and the new toner fitted, open the top toner-access cover.
Press Secure and Cancel together to open the toner reset list.
Use the arrow keys to choose only the replaced color and correct capacity, then press OK.
At Reset/Exit, press the up arrow to reset. After Accepted appears, close the top cover and let the printer return to Ready.
