Epson WF-3620: nozzle check and selective cleaning

Choose the cleaning colour group from the printed pattern, then allow a rest if repeated cleaning fails.

Check the pattern before cleaning

Load plain paper in the cassette and select HOME → Setup → Maintenance → Print Head Nozzle Check. Press the color button.
If there are no gaps, choose Done. For gaps, choose Clean the Print Head, or open Maintenance → Print Head Cleaning.
Select Proceed and the cleaning group appropriate to the affected color in your pattern. Press the color button.
Keep the printer on and scanner closed during cleaning. At completion, select Print Nozzle Check Pattern and press the color button to compare.

These controls are for WF-3620. Do not apply the two-cleaning limit of an Epson photo printer or a different model’s maintenance routine.
