Brother MFC-J480DW: fit LC203 ink cartridges

Install slowly, keep the outlet seal intact and confirm only the colour you replaced.

Use the LC203 replacement listed for your local MFC-J480DW. The four colors have separate positions behind the front ink cover.

Replace the indicated color

Open the ink-cartridge cover. Press the release lever for the indicated color and take out that cartridge.
Prepare the replacement using its own supplied instructions. If it has orange protective packing with a green release lever, turn the lever anticlockwise until it clicks, then remove that packing.
Keep the ink-outlet film and unmarked labels intact. Do not puncture the cartridge; compatible packaging can differ from Brother’s orange cap.
Insert the cartridge in its labeled direction and correct color slot. Push slowly and firmly until it latches.
Close the cover. Confirm the replaced color when asked. The printer then updates its ink dot counter.
