DCP-1610W / DCP-1612W: recognise new TN1050 toner

A UK TN1050 procedure for the small LCD DCP family.

Confirm new TN1050 toner

  1. Leave the machine on with its covers closed. Press Menu.
  2. Use Up/Down to choose Machine Info., then press OK.
  3. Choose Reset Drum and hold OK for about five seconds. Do not press Up to confirm a drum reset.
  4. Press Start, then Up until 00 appears. Press OK and wait for the confirmation.
