This shared drum assembly uses a different reset from the smaller individual-colour drums.

Transfer each usable toner to its matching colour position in the new drum assembly. Use the green handles and lock lever shown in the replacement sheet; avoid the drum surfaces. The drum number identifies the manufacturer’s compatible supply; this guide does not indicate stock availability.

- Close the front cover and leave the printer on. Choose Machine Info. → Parts Life → Drum with the arrow keys and OK.
- Hold OK for about five seconds, then press Up to reset.
HL-L8360CDW / MFC-L8900CDW touchscreen
- With the front cover closed and machine on, open Settings → All Settings → Machine Info. (or Machine Information) → Parts Life.
- Hold Drum (or Drum Life) until the display changes. Press Yes, then Home.
