Brother DCP-7060D/DCP-7065DN: reset replacement toner

Use Clear, Start and the arrow keys on this older monochrome DCP panel.

1 min read

These DCP models have no numeric fax keypad. The reset uses the number on the LCD rather than typing a star code. Confirm the exact model before starting.

Reset after fitting the new toner

  1. With the new toner installed and the printer on, open the front cover.
  2. Press Clear. If a Replace Drum prompt appears, leave its drum confirmation untouched.
  3. Press Start, then use the arrow keys to show 11 for standard toner or 12 for high-yield toner.
  4. Press OK. When Accepted appears, close the front cover and allow the printer to return to Ready.
