Dell C1660w: low, empty or unsupported toner?
Read the 093 code and color before replacing or reseating a cartridge.
1 min readOn this color family, 093-423 to 093-426 are low-toner warnings. 093-930 to 093-933 mean replacement is due. 093-960 to 093-963 mean an unsupported cartridge was detected; a low-toner counter reset does not repair that condition.
For an unsupported-cartridge message
- Note the color named in the message and verify the C1660w cartridge part code.
- Switch the printer off, then reseat that cartridge using the model’s replacement guide. Remove only labeled shipping seals and close the cover.
- Switch on and recheck. If the error remains, contact us with the full 093 code and cartridge label; do not erase printer settings.
