Correct faded or uneven Canon color prints
Use the exact Full Adjust procedure for your color multifunction printer.
1 min readUse this when color shades or density look wrong. Check for low toner first; calibration cannot replace an exhausted cartridge.
Run Full Adjust
- Finish any printing or scanning. From the Home screen select Menu → Adjustment/Maintenance → Adjust Image Quality → Auto Adjust Gradation → Full Adjust.
- Load the paper size and type requested on screen. Select OK, then Start to print the first adjustment sheet.
- Put the sheet face down on the scanner glass with its black stripe towards the back. Close the feeder or cover and select Start Scanning.
- Replace the first sheet with the second printed adjustment sheet, in the same orientation. Close the cover and select Start Scanning again.
- Wait for completion, then remove the sheet. For a simpler adjustment, select Quick Adjust → Start in the same menu.
