Ricoh SP100 toner replacement and level display

Why the SP100 has no toner percentage, and how to replace its cartridge.

1 min read

The SP100 does not measure remaining toner. Its monitor can show ** instead of a toner percentage; this alone is not a cartridge fault.

Replace the print cartridge

  1. Open the maintenance cover and pull out the old cartridge using its grips.
  2. Unpack the new cartridge and gently shake it from side to side five or six times.
  3. Hold its grips, insert it fully and close the maintenance cover.
