Samsung SL-C430 / CLT-404S: fit a replacement colour toner
Check the 404 family, remove its packing protection and fit the right colour.
1 min readThis guide is for Samsung SL-C430-series printers using CLT-404S cartridges. Check the full model on the local product page: similar C410/406 printer names use another toner family.
Fit the affected colour
- Finish printing, switch off and allow hot parts to cool. Press the cover release and open the front cover.
- Pull out the indicated toner using its handle. Unpack the correct replacement and gently rock it side to side to distribute the toner.
- Remove the packaging protection and sealing tape identified by its installation leaflet. Keep hands off the exposed drum surface.
- Insert it in the matching colour slot, close the front cover, switch on and print a short test.
