Samsung CLP-365 / SL-C430: replace the separate colour imaging drum
Remove the toners and waste container to reach the imaging unit.
1 min readSamsung CLP-365/CLP-365W and the SL-C430-series models covered here have a separate imaging unit behind their four toners. An imaging-unit end-of-life warning is different from a low-toner warning. Check the required drum code and local availability for the exact model.
Replace the separate imaging unit
- Finish printing, switch off and let the printer cool. Open the front cover and remove all four toners by their handles. Keep them in colour order.
- Remove the waste-toner container carefully and keep it upright. Withdraw the old imaging unit by its front handle or grip.
- Unpack the correct replacement imaging unit, remove its protection and fit it fully. Keep fingers off the drum, avoid sharp tools and limit its exposure to light.
- Refit the waste-toner container, then put the four toners back in their matching slots. Close the front cover and switch on.
