HL-2140 / DCP-7040 / MFC-7440N: replace DR2100 drum
Choose the Go, DCP or MFC confirmation after installing the new drum.

Remove the toner-and-drum assembly, release the toner and lock it into the new drum. Follow the model’s replacement sheet; keep fingers off the drum surface.
HL-2140
- Leave the machine on and open the front cover. Hold Go for about four seconds until all four LEDs light.
- Release Go, close the front cover and check that the Drum LED is off.
DCP-7040 / MFC-7440N
- Leave the machine on and open the front cover. Press Clear/Back.
- For DCP-7040, press Up; for MFC-7440N, press 1 to confirm the new drum.
- When Accepted appears, close the front cover.
