DCP-1610W / DCP-1612W: replace DR1050 drum

Replace the drum carrier using the machine’s top-cover replacement instructions and keep usable toner fitted. Close the top and scanner covers before the confirmation.

Confirm the new DR1050 drum

  1. Press Menu. Choose Machine Info. with Up/Down and press OK.
  2. Choose Reset Drum. Hold OK for three seconds.
  3. Press Up to confirm the new drum, then Stop/Exit.
