Canon PIXMA MG5760: nozzle check and print-head cleaning

Check the printed pattern before cleaning; use deep cleaning only after the normal routine fails.

Check, clean and compare

Load plain white A4 or Letter paper in the cassette and register the matching size and Plain paper. Open the output tray.
On HOME, select Setup → Maintenance → Print nozzle check pattern. Press OK at each selection, then Yes → OK.
If the pattern has gaps or white streaks, select Setup → Maintenance → Cleaning → OK → Yes → OK. Wait for it to finish, then accept the nozzle-check prompt.
If two normal cleans do not resolve the gaps, use Maintenance → Deep cleaning → OK → Yes → OK, then check the new pattern.

If every nozzle line is complete but straight lines look displaced, use alignment instead of more cleaning.
